Meet Jared and Tori Olsen!

Meet the newest edition to Bevy of Birdhome’s staff: lovebirds—Jared and Tori Olsen!  This power duo, (lovingly referred to as the dragon and the lion) bring a plethora of skill and energy to the company.  Recently married, this couple is excited for the opportunity to stare at each other at work and at home; let’s just hope this excitement will last!

While Tori has had some experience cleaning aviaries and posting interesting bird facts for the company in the past, Jared adds a background in quality management within a fast paced-environment, and quality control to the mix. You’re gonna need those skills Jared, as you attempt to catch the fast-paced flying birds inside the tiny world of an aviary!

Although Jared’s horoscope (Libra) would suggest he is the sensitive guy you can confide your innermost feelings too, watch out, because this is the “manliest Libra alive”! This Libra loves playing/watching sports, reading (um…kind of sensitive), and playing video games. His wife also shares his love of reading, but that is where the similarities end.  She also enjoys sleeping (try not to on the job, Tori), and listening/bopping to the music in her head!  Come on, you hear it don’t you?

Tori’s love of music, and in particular the calming sounds of the birds, as well as the satisfaction of admiring a pristine aviary complete with a beautiful arrangement of dark green leaves, and vibrant flowers, are what she is most looking forward to while working with the company. Non-sensitive and manly Jared is more interested in the flexible hours, (leaving him ample time to get in a good game of golf), and the opportunity to build rapport with those he comes in contact with.  This rapport will assist with his long-term goal to eventually end up in Health Care Management.

So…. if you see this couple in your facility, ask them how they earned their nickname (dragon and lion), or find out why pie crust and eggs melt Jared’s heart, while raw fish and seaweed pump Tori up!
